With a passion for health and wellness, Amanda pursued a bachelors degree in Community Health specializing in exercise physiology and nutrition. From there she earned her Masters in Business Administration in hopes to create a business to help people achieve their optimal Health.
Sarah has always been a sport and fitness junkie, that is where she gets her natural competitive drive. She grew up playing every sport imaginable with her older brother and the neighborhood boys at the park she lived next door to. When Middle School and High School came around, soccer and basketball became her main focuses – playing JV soccer and Varsity basketball in the 8th grade.
Nick Bossert has been a competitive athlete for as long as he can remember. He was a three letter athlete throughout high school, playing football, basketball and baseball and spent countless hours in the weight room. He continued playing football and lifting at the collegiate level while studying Criminal Justice at Utica College.
Tina grew up playing sports and having a love of the outdoors. She took that passion inside and started taking group exercise classes which eventually led to becoming an instructor. She is a NETA certified group exercise instructor and Personal Trainer.
Cait assists in both coaching and programming for the Chosen Barbell Club. She has a long list of achievements and accolades. After starting with CrossFit, Cait transitioned to Weightlifting, where she worked her way to becoming a national level competitor, training within the highly successful and respected East Coast Gold organization, which she remains a part of to this day.
From a very young age, Amanda developed a love for a variety of sports including Volleyball, Softball and Track; thriving on the camaraderie and competition. She was introduced to CrossFit in 2016 and immediately knew she had found what she had been looking for.
Stephanie is a Canandaigua native who grew up swimming competitively until college. She attended Clarkson University and RIT earning her Masters in Microelectronic Engineering before moving to Fishkill, NY to work as an applications engineer specializing in microlithography.
Roy is CrossFit Chosen’s original Olympic Lifting coach. He is a former college athlete, current scientist, part-time weightlifting coach who loves a good bit of competition. When he isn’t in the lab executing elegantly designed experiments, you will likely find him at the gym, weightlifting.
Born and raised on a dairy farm in Lancaster, PA, Mike learned the value of hard work at a young age. He was a tri-sport athlete playing soccer and baseball as well as excelling as a wrestler throughout high school. He went on to Cornell University where he continued to wrestle competitively
Jordan brings Chosen Athletics a unique approach to training by combining sport specific skill work for lacrosse coupled with methodologies from CrossFit in functional movement. Evans began his lacrosse career at the age of 6. Growing up in upstate NY and attending Jamesville-Dewitt High School just ten minutes from the Syracuse campus.
Brandon grew up in Colorado with a passion for the outdoors. Through snowboarding, hiking, rafting and running Brandon, has always enjoyed athleticism and the art of competing.
