From a very young age, Amanda developed a love for a variety of sports including Volleyball, Softball and Track; thriving on the camaraderie and competition. While her husband was stationed at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, Amanda began to find her place in the fitness world. She began working with a trainer and found a passion in running. She went on to finish several half marathons and compete in triathlons around the state. Amanda also participated in a Century ride, cycling 100 miles to support the American Diabetes Association. Although she continued her cycling and running routines, Amanda knew there was something missing. She was introduced to CrossFit in 2016 and immediately knew she had found what she had been looking for. Wanting to become a more well rounded athlete and gain strength, unknowingly, she got much more out of CrossFit Chosen than just a good workout. Instead, she got a great community with good friends and an opportunity to share her love of CrossFit as a trainer. Amanda believes that everyone has an athlete inside of them, just waiting to be unleashed. Adding strength, agility and positivity to your daily life will not only get you fit, but it will change every aspect of your life.
